Pressure vessel steel plate, means carbon and low alloy steel plates used for the manufacture of pressure vessel shells. It includes carbon steel, carbon-manganese steel, micro-alloyed steel, low-alloyed high-strength steel, and steel for low-temperature use. The working temperature generally ranges from -20℃ to 500℃, and individually up to 560℃.

Industrial production has a specific process function and withstand a certain pressure of the equipment, said pressure vessel. Storage vessels, reaction vessels, heat exchange vessels and separation vessels are pressure vessels. In order to distinguish from the general container (atmospheric pressure container), only meet the following three conditions at the same time, the container is called a pressure vessel:
(1) The highest working pressure (Pw) (Note 1) is greater than or equal to 0.1Mpa (excluding liquid static pressure, the same below).
(2) The inner diameter (non-he-shaped cross-section refers to its maximum size) is greater than or equal to 0.15m, and the volume (V) (Note 2) is greater than or equal to 0.25m3.
(3) The medium for the gas liquefied gas or the maximum working temperature is higher than or equal to the standard boiling point of liquid.
